I grew up in Stavanger and Kvinnherad, and now live in Tasta with my husband, 2 children and a dog called Goliat. I knew early on that I wanted to become a midwife.
I chose a bit of a longer path to reach my gol, working along side studying to become a nurse. As a fully trained nurse I have worked both with rehabilitation and at the department of otolaryngo. I then worked in the postnatal intensive care unit. In 2013 I had finished my education as a midwife, and then worked a few years at the delivery unit in SUS.
Then I took the specialized course in medical sonography in NTNU, Trondheim, and have been working in Fødeloftet and the outpatients´clinic of the maternity ward in SUS since then.
